Scholarships For Any Undergraduate Student

By Sarah Christine Davis on February 22, 2016

“When I was your age, I put my own self through college by waitressing at the local diner.”

“College was expensive, but I made it through by saving up my spare change and working at the deli on the weekends.”

You’ve probably heard plenty of older adults mutter phrases like this. While such accomplishments are to be admired and certainly weren’t a walk in the park to undertake, it’s not that easy these days. For example, tuition at Harvard was 17 times more expensive in 2015 than it was in 1972.

It’s often difficult to find the means to attend college with tuition clearly rising rapidly and exponentially. Frankly, a part-time job isn’t going to cover it. You’re going to have to put in more effort to afford your degree.

Luckily, there are lots of opportunities out there for you to get help. Applying for scholarships is one of the most cost-effective ways you can spend your time — and there are a TON out there.

No matter what your major or your year in school, you have lots of options. Stop scraping change and check out some of them below!
