Some of the television shows us college students watch have the best fashion, that just about every college student could admire. These shows include “How to Get Away with Murder” (2014- ), a mystery series about a law professor and her law school selected students getting into complicated situation after another. These characters show the struggles that college and graduate students go through, so what’s a better way than for college students to take fashion advice from fellow students?

These “HTGAWM” characters are all so different from one another, which is why they make such a great team. This is also why their fashion senses have so much variety. No matter what your fashion taste is, you can probably find a character you can relate to in this great series.

Here is how to dress like the characters of “How to Get Away with Murder.”

Laurel Castillo

Laurel’s style is dressy casual, and she loves different designs. She frequently rocks a cardigan, like this light olive green one above. Cardigans can make almost any tank top look a bit more dressy, perfect for a work day or class presentation. Laurel is also big on jewelry, particularly necklaces with every outfit. In the outfit she is wearing above, she has three necklaces of different sizes and lengths that really adds an extra pop to her top, making her cardigan look less plain.

This navy blue long sleeve blouse is very fashionable, especially the unique design. A blouse like this can look great with a pencil skirt or black or white slacks. You can also notice Laurel added a necklace and stacked bracelet as well.

Michaela Pratt

Michaela is definitely a great law student and obviously has a great fashion sense. This navy blue leather jacket can be worn either casual or dressy, which makes it work for a day in class or an internship. Dress it up with a matching blue jumpsuit like the picture above, or make it casual with a pair of light blue jeans. You can also see that Michaela added a touch of bling with a simple gold necklace.

Michaela loves a good dress, and this bold dark purple dress she wore is adorable and definitely makes a statement. You see in the picture above she added a thin white cardigan and floral gold necklace. These simple touches can really dress up an outfit.

Wes Gibbins

Through all of Wes’ problems in the show, he dresses casual and looks good doing it. Here Wes is wearing a thin stripped sweater and a pair of khakis. This is an in-style outfit any college student could pull off for a day on campus. Wes also adds a watch for more style.

Wes loves to rock plaid shirts in “How to Get Away with Murder,” which can be dressy casual. College guys can wear a button-up plaid shirt with jeans to dress it down, or navy blue or black slacks to dress it up.

Annalise Keating

Anyone who watches “HTGAWM” knows that Professor Keating is a fan of dresses. The dress Annalise is wearing in the photo above is dressy and bold. This is a perfect dress to wear when you want to stand out. The bright orange really adds a pop of fun to the outfit. You can notice she added gold hoop earrings and a gold bracelet for subtle flashiness.

This teal dress Professor Keating is wearing in this scene is simple but dressy as well. Her addition to the outfit with the matching beaded necklace really adds more style to the dress, along with the simple gold bracelet. This would be a great outfit to wear to a job interview for you seniors.

Bonnie Winterbottom

Although Bonnie is a little older than the “Keating Five,” she dresses just as well! This nude colored dress is classy and cute. This dress is great for a day at the office, an internship, or even a job interview. You can also notice Bonnie paired it with a simple pearl necklace.

This also nude floral blouse is less dressy, but cute and perfect for spring. You can wear this as a causal look with blue jeans or shorts, or dress it up under a suit jacket like Bonnie did above. Since there is much detail in the blouse, there is no need to add a necklace. You could also try wearing an alike blouse with a cardigan, similar to Laurel’s look.
